Summit

Hello,

I was super excited to be invited to a summit. It was located at their tower in downtown. The summit started on early Thursday and ended around 5pm on Friday. It was a nice break from classes. After a day of presentations and hearing various speakers they treated us to dinner at Chinato's.

Instead of salad I decided to get the tomato soup. Thank goodness I did because many people didn't like the salad.

I got this chicken breast as the main entree. It was super good and the sauce was excellent.

For dessert i got the chocolate mousse cake. Though I'm not a big chocolate fan this lovely dessert was good.

I got to stay at a hotel for the night.  The interior of the hotel near the entrance was really nice. There was a sitting area and also a beautiful fountain. I loved having more own room and it was so peace and quiet. The bed was a queen size which was so big and lovely. The tv was at a really awkward place and the lighting was really bad that's why my picture turned out so dark. The location was really close to the tower but the people near it looked pretty shady.

They have this little amenities in the bathroom. I really liked that they used the Aveda brand.

Favorite thing about hotel? I would have to say plenty of towels!

All the goodies I got that day. So much chocolate :D Despite having to wake up early staying at the hotel gave me a good night of sleep.

We had to plan and present a case study the next day so this is the result after all our hardwork. We didn't end up winning but got second place.

After the summit they gave us each a bluetooth speaker.

Overall the summit was awesome and I hope to be able to intern with them in the future.

Have a great day!

XOXO,

End of Semester, Now Summer

 Hello,

I went home briefly before finals week to celebrate my mommy's birthday. We went to her favorite place to eat which was Texas Roadhouse of course. The prime rib was excellent as usual and the place was pretty busy.

For our last business frat exec meeting our president bought us cupcakes! It was super yummy and this strawberry one was so good.

This red velvet one isn't too bad either. They are currently located at a local mall but they have a couple of other locations as well.

Pretty much my study spot for finals is starbucks. I like the atmosphere a lot though it can be easily crowded at times.

Lighting was good at my dorm so i decided to take a selfie.

We had an awards gala for my sorority so this is me with my community service co-chair. So excited to be working with her next year.

The big-little pic which I always like to take. The lighting is really good at this ballroom.

The fam although we are missing some members. Good luck to my grandbig as goes on to do case grad school. I'll miss my little one as she goes off the Ireland but I know she'll have a lot of fun.

Another good spot to study is panera. The food is so-so but the place is nice.

Now i'm back home to enjoy the summer!

XOXO,

Building Relationships, Better Business

Hi,

I don't remember talking about my business fraternity a lot but this past week we finally initiated 9 new brothers into our fraternity.

I am also getting another little! My first little Margaret is literally perfection and i'm really looking forward to spend time with my new little, Tina (pictured on the first row far left).

Afterwards a bunch of us went to L'abratross to celebrate. This french restaurant had the best service ever. The waitors also refill the water and bread. I had the chicken breast which was delicious.

This honey-almond cake is only so-so.

(Back)
We finally ordered AKPSI shirts. I'm in love.

(Front)

This was the winning design chosen by our chapter. I'm so blessed to be part of this wonderful chapter that I enjoy oh so much.

Its been warm these couple of days over here. I'm going to enjoy this!

See ya next post and have a wonderful day.

Spring Break

(Us with our frap as soon as we got to Columbus)
Hi friends!

This spring break I had plans to go to NYC for school trip but they sold out of the tickets :( Two of my sutiemates decided that we should head down to Columbus to visit another floormate as well as shop at the Polaris Mall.

(Arrived at friend's house)

My friend was awesome and treat us to lunch at her house. Her house was really pretty with all the wall covered in different paint colors.

Her mom made us Indian food and I loved to eat the naan.

(donuts and hot chocolate for me)

We made a quick stop at Tim Horton's before heading home.

(ham, cheese, egg sandwich and b-power smoothie to start the day)

The next day I met up with my friends at panera. I went to some craft stores and the mall with friends. We had to get some crafting supplies.

(chicken teriyaki)

I liked to eat food court food so chicken teriyaki it is!

(tiramisu latte and choco chip frap with sis)

Spring break was fun and now it's time to head back to school!

Love,

Buys & Fest From Awhile Ago

(caramel, green tea, caffe espresso fraps)
Hello,

I hope that you are doing well. This post I'm going to just write things that I did and bought these past couple of weeks. I pretty much go to the mall every week so I've compiled my buys in this post. I also didn't really buy much since I really have the need too.

To start off I got this black peplum skirt from The Limited. This skirt can be used formally or casually which I liked. The material is soft, very similar to a regular skirt. I hope to wear this to future business frat events.

Black closed toed heels are a every girl's need.

A pretty little mickey mouse ring from my sister.

That's the starbucks that opened in my target.

At the fest they were selling sweets from corbo's so i got this mix.

Of course when i go to fests I have to get funnel cake! It was delicious.

Have a great day!

A Trip Downtown

(oooooh~ can you guess what's inside?)

Hi,

I went to the downtown of my city with one of my best friends the other day. We just went there to catch up and such. It was only the two of us because our other friends were all busy. I'm going back to college soon and I'm really going to miss her :( We've been friends for 7 years already. We're similar in some aspects and we really get along well. I really like our downtown area because there's little shops and places to eat.

We went to the nice little crêpe place. This time was one of the few times that i didn't see anyone i know working there. We've been there before but I wanted to try something new. This time I got the dark chocolate strawberry. It wasn't too sweet and i liked that. Wasn't a bit fan of the strawberries though. I prefer to eat fresh strawberries as compared to preserved ones.

If you guessed cupcakes for what's in the box then you are right! There's this lovely cupcake shop there which i probably have blogged about before. I had to get cupcakes to eat. I think they cost $2.50 each. I absolutely love the cupcakes. It's just that something about sweets that makes me so happy. It's probably the sugar.

This first lovely cupcake is raspberry mocha. I'm usually not a big fan of chocolate cupcake or cake so this was average for me. Definitely recommend this for chocolate lovers~

This is the lovely blueberry one and it has cinnamon in the inside. It kinda reminded me of coffee cake~

This last one is the chocolate chip. I got this last time but I wanted to it again. It tasted great as usual.

It been a lovely 3 months at home but I'm ready to go back to college~ Hopefully i can keep up with the postings!

Have a good day!

Cheesecake Factory

Hello,

Only a couple more weeks till back to school I go. I still have to buy some textbooks and such. I'll be back a week earlier than classes start because I have to help the incoming freshman move-in. That week before classes I don't exactly get to relax because of my sorority's fall retreat. We're going to a camp nearby. Though I'm happy to spend time with my sisters I'm not too excited for the camping part. It's just that in the past I have been to cabin camping before and it's not my fav.

We've been wanting to go out for lunch but we didn't exactly know where we should go. Me and my sibs went to the cheesecake factory. The cheesecake factory near me is located in this nice plaza. I've eaten their cheesecake before but never dined -in. This is a first time experience for me. Their cheesecake is the best!

When we arrived at our table we saw this nice little setting. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. There was also a patio outside if you want to eat outside. Of course we decided to stay indoors because it was still a bit chilly and I don't really like to eat outside too much. The servers all wore entirely white even their shoes which were super weird.

We shared a fried mushroom, zucchini, and avocado small dish. It was pretty good especial the zucchini. The sauces fit these fried veggies really well. Bread was also served but I didn't get the chance to take a pic.

I got the pasta da vinci. I forgot to ask for no mushrooms :( It was really good except the sauce was too savory. The chicken was really good. I like how the chicken was cooked just right not to dried or raw. Next time if i get pasta I want to get pasta with marinara sauce.

Of course the goal of our trip was to get cheesecake. On July 30 & 31 a slice of cheesecake is half off with any entree purchases. Even though this deal was going on there wasn't too much people. I got the tiramisu cheesecake. It was delicious and whip was good as well.

My brother on the other hand ordered the banana cream cheesecake. I tried a bit of his and it was also very good. I would definitely like to try other flavors of cheesecake next time.

Overall my experience went pretty well. I like this place. Though I thought it was pricy just for lunch.   I would like to go back in the future.

Hope your day goes well :)

LOve,

M
