Hello!
This is my Canada trip from awhile back. We stayed there for 1 night at Markham, Ontario. The days were nice and the weather was warm.
This is the famous Ding Tai Fung. They are known for their dumplings and an open section of their kitchen where guests can see how the dumplings are made. We arrived about a hr or so after it opened and it was completely packed with a quite a bit of wait.
These are the small ones that we got which I recommend getting the bigger ones instead. The larger size has more juice in the dumplings as shown below.
We also ordered a variety of dim sum too!
This was a veggie one which was ok.
I don't remember which bun this is anymore but it's good.
There's a lot of these little asian shopping centers. This is just one of them and of course there's bubble tea. We decided to get Presotea.
We decided to stay at the Courtyard Marriot. I think Marriots are one of the better hotels at least from my experience.
The drawer next to the TV actually has a fridge which is very convenient.
(some goodies I brought to the hotel from a supermarket)
For dinner we went to a seafood place called Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant known for its lobsters.
One thing that I really liked about this place is that they show you the seafood before it gets cooked. Of course I grabbed one of the lobsters to take a picture with. They also provide plastic gloves.
(shark fin soup)
(crab)
(Just one lobster but if you order more lobsters than the tower becomes bigger)
Overall would recommend you getting the lobsters only. The crab and fish was ok but nothing spectacular. It can also get pretty pricey too. Always order a small lobster than on the menu because the one that they show you inevitably is always larger therefore you pay more because it's priced per pound.
The weather was super nice when we were there.
My first coffee at Tim Hortons!
One of the best roasted duck at this random food court!
